“Pitch Up in Pink – Cricket for A Cause” took place at Shalimar Cricket Stadium, Islamabad between Parliamentarians and TV Anchors to raise awareness on Breast Cancer and a Healthy Lifestyle.

Pink Ribbon engaged parliamentarians and news anchors to draw more attention to the issue of breast cancer. Syed Talat Hussain, Syed Asim Raza, Samar Abbas, Shakir Abbasi, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bokhari, Qasim Khan Suri, Makhdoom Zain Hussain Qureshi, Usman Dar and Syed Zeeshan Ali Naqvi performed the best of their ability to raise awareness around breast cancer.

1 out of 9 women is at risk of having breast cancer in Pakistan. Breast cancer awareness, education and understanding that early detection is crucial in saving lives, can enable more women across Pakistan to acquire effective treatment and therefore adopt a healthy lifestyle.
